Education, experience, and temperament uniquely qualify Lane Pittard for district judge in Bossier and Webster Parishes.   He began his legal career as the law clerk for now retired Judges Graydon Kitchens and Cecil Campbell – as well as current Judge Harmon Drew.  Next, he worked as a public defender in Bossier Parish.  He began a private law practice over 20 years ago and has handled hundreds of civil cases including business law, corporate law, and probate matters.  He is currently the First Assistant District Attorney of the Bossier-Webster District Attorney’s office. Lane has tried hundreds of cases and has seen firsthand how a judge’s decisions affect people’s lives.

Lane believes in the values of honesty, truthfulness and fairness. These are the same values that he and his wife have lived by and have tried to instill in two sons. Lane is actively involved in his Church, the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, where he coordinates a ministry to feed shut-ins and he helps lead worship as a musician in the praise band.
